Campy, formulaic, and sometimes confusing, Barton's (www.beverlybarton.com) latest titlefollowing "The Murder Game" (2008)is intriguing nonetheless. A bit racier than the novels of Mary Higgins Clark, it falls in line with the work of Linda Howard and Tami Hoag.
